El primer dia del año nuevo,
se celebra la festividad del año nuevo, esta fiesta tiene especial significado ya que representa no solo un cambio de año sino tambien un cambio de vida y es tradicion que en las casas se suele desechar las pertenencias antiguas y que ya no tienen uso como por ejemplo ropa, artefactos, muebles, etc.
El 6 de enero se celebra fiesta de bajada de reyes magos, y las familais cusqueñas llevan al niño manuelito que festejaron en las navidades para que sean bendecidos en loc templos de la ciudad de Cusco
En esta misma fiesta en varios lugares de Cusco se suele danzar, se realizan fiestas tipicas

El 20 de enero : El patron de San Sebastian, es sacado en procesion en el distrito de San Sebastian, en esta procesion se celebra con muchas festividades por todo el distrito con danzas, fiestas.

El 2 de febrero se celebra lña fiesta de la virgen de Purificacion, en la Iglesia de San Pedro en la ciudad de Cusco y en el distrito de Saylla se festeja a la Virgen de la Candelaria.

El 28 de febrero se festeja tradicionalmente la fiesta de los carnavales, con fiestas por toda la ciudad de Cusco, los jovenes y niños lo celebrar jugando con agua y los adultos con fiestas tradicionales
En las zonas rurales todavia se celebra la fiesta tradicional de la "Yunzada" que consiste en plantar un arbol artificial en un agujero en el piso y las personas concursan a derribar el arbol por turnos y la persona que derriba el arbol tienen el cargo de organizar la fijesta de la "Yunzada" el proximo año, todo esto bailando al ritmo del tradicional carnaval Cusqueño

Easter Friday- Procession of the "Señor de los Temblores".
Mar 23rd and 24th: Cusco´s Spanish foundation Anniversary.

May 2nd: “Cruz Velacuy” or cross´ adoration is celebrated in Cusco and other provinces.

They worship the holy crosses that are in the churches, particular houses, bridges and communal roads. The cross is covered with colourful clothes, of golden laces, which are donated by the devotees.
The miraculous cross propitiates new constructions, and also acts like a protector of rural and city houses.
May 15th: Religious Festivity of the Agriculture Lord, Saint Isidro Labrador is celebrated in Cusco provinces.
May 24th: Qoyllurity´s Lord Sanctuary in the location of Ocongate, 5 hours of travelling from Cusco, and with 5000 meters high over the sea level. Where the Andean devotion demonstrates itself. One of the native communities that participate, is the K´eros, which is the more conservative, with folk dances. There´s a peculiar custom called the Alacitas game.

May 26th: Corpus Christi festivity in Cusco city, this dates back to the Inca times, used to release the Panakas parade, in which they carried Inca mummies dressed in colourful clothes. In their central day Thursday, they make a procession of the holy images of the principal Churches. Exposition and sale of the typical food called “Chiri Uchu”.
Jun 24th: INTI RAYMI, is the most important festivity in Inca´s history, where people venerate the "Taita Inti". It starts in the Qoricancha, leaded by the Inca and his imperial entourage, then they go the Main Square for releasing the evocation act to "Idol Sun", after that they go to Saccsayhuaman, where people celebrate the principal ceremon

y, sacrificing a llama for having an abundant Agricola year, folk dances festivity and general festival.
In San Jeronimo, Maras and Yucay, people celebrate Saint Juan festivity for propitiating an abundant livestock production, branding of livestock. (Cusco)

June16th: Virgin Carmen´s festivity in Paucartambo, “Folk Province”, 110 km away from Cusco.

Aug15th: Virgin Asuncion or Asunta Festivity, celebrated in many provinces near Cusco.

Last Sunday of the month- Inca Festival “Warachicuy” in Teenager´s tribute. The young people show their skills in a honest competition, to become citizens.

Sept 8th: Nativity Virgin Festivity, celebrated with folk dances in Almudena Church (Cusco)

Sept 14th: "Señor de Huanca" Sanctuary Festivity, Agrarian fear in San Salvador district, 1 hour away from Cusco.

Sept 30th: San Jeronimo´s Day, religious and folk festivity in the district of the same name. (Cusco)
Oct 4th: San Francisco religious Festivity, in the locations of Tinta, Urcos and Maras in Cusco.
Oct 7th:Rosario Virgin Festivity in the locations of Combapata, Urcso and Checacupe.
Nov 1st: All Saints, Dead day, people go to the cemeteries.
Nov 2nd: All Saints, Alive People´s Day, a typical food on this day is Baked Pig (Lechon). During the month, groups of friends organize traditional baptizes of dolls made of bread (Wawa T´anta) with comic characters.
Dec 24th: Big Artesanal Fair “Santurantikuy” in Cusco city. Sale of Christmas articles and souvenirs and artesanies of original Cusquenias Artists..

Dec 25th: Cusquenian Christmas, exhibition of the Navity scene in churches and particular houses.
